I was born and raised in Lahaina, Maui, and started Designs by Kai in 2020 during my senior year of high school. It began as a small sticker business, with each piece printed and cut on my Cricut.

 

After taking some time away, I found my way back to creating while at home with my firstborn, Alan-Kaniela. During that time, I started learning surface pattern designs and eventually started to turn my artwork into aloha wear and accessories as a way to share my art! 

 

All designs are created by me, inspired by my home and the things I love.
